2020-2021 Faculty of Engineering Graduation Joy
Faculty of Engineering gave its graduates for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The graduation ceremony held in Marianne Molu Amphitheater was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çalış, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murat Borlu, Prof. Dr. Recai Kılıç and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sıtkı İlkay, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, academics and students attended.
After the moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun gave information about his faculties.
Giving advice to the graduates, Dean Altun said, “You should not be behind the times in the studies you will do. You should not see the information and equipment provided as sufficient. We want you to always update and keep yourself active as a really wanted and desired engineers in accordance with the conditions of the era.”
Our Rector Prof. Dr. In his speech, Mustafa Çalış said that the Engineering faculty of Erciyes University is one of the locomotive faculties of Erciyes University.
Our Rector, Çalış, said, “Our university was among the 5 universities fully accredited by YÖKAK for 5 years. I would like to point these out so that you are aware of what an important university you have graduated from. The more proud you are of your university and faculty, the less it is.
Noting that the Faculty of Engineering has a rare and constantly developing research laboratory infrastructure in our country, our Rector Çalış said, “As successful young engineers who love their profession, always be open to innovations and different ideas. Continuously follow scientific and technical fields and renew yourself. Throughout your education life, as the University administration, we have made an effort to maximize your education and research opportunities and to be with you in all your social and cultural activities. Please do not forget your belonging to Erciyes University as well.”
After the speeches, Gamze Küçükoğlu from the Civil Engineering Department, the first in the 2020-2021 academic year, took the engineering oath to the graduates and put a plaque on the graduation log.
